The batteries that came with the product should last about 6-8 months. You will get a notification when they are running low and need to be changed. See below for what that looks like (battery level red with an exclamation point).

Batteries won’t last that long, I’ve only had my doorbell camera for a month and my battery is red. And did not even receive a notification that they’re low.. even if you don’t get the ding dong press, they will still run out fast… you won’t receive a notification if someone presses the button due to batteries low, so replace asap if you don’t want to miss this notification
